MUA Pro Base Prime and Conceal Review ♥

13 January 2014

Hello!
First blog of 2014!

Since I am a big fan of anything MUA, I was really excited when I found out that they had released a new product on their website in the shape of the Prime and Conceal colour correcter. Like most girls, I feel like it's important to always have a good concealer to hand, especially for those bad acne days so as soon as I saw that it was available to purchase on their website, I ordered myself one and eagerly waited for it to arrive!

As you can see, mine is very well loved

What MUA say:
"Rid yourself of redness once and for all!

Our Prime & Conceal colour corrector is a yellow tone to counteract that redness around your eyes and will also tone down blemishes. Apply to your eyelids to give yourself a clean slate to create those amazing eye looks!

Everyone suffers from that annoying blemish that pops up at exactly the wrong time, no matter what you do that redness just shines through - not anymore! Using your F3 Concealer Brush dab Prime & Conceal over the area and blend around it, then apply your foundation. There you go! Your flawless complexion has returned!"
To show it dabbed on and blended in

The first thing I thought when I got it was "Omg, it's really yellow" and that there was no way that it would work on my skin but I have to say I was really surprised with the results.

I applied under my eyes and on blemishes on top of my usual foundation and added abit of powder to seal and I couldn't believe the difference it had made to my face. As you can see in the picture above it totally gets rid of my dark circles and I found made me look more wide awake. The product is really creamy but still has a light consistency, making it very easy to apply and doesn't take much effect to blend in.

I have to say I never brought this product for using as a primer but I have to say I was quite impressed with long it stayed on. Even when I got home from work, my eyes still looked like I'd just applied it.

Overall, I love it and I think for £1.50, it's an absolute bargain. I would definitely buy again and have already forced my friend to order one for yourself just to prove how amazing it is!
