Collection Extreme 24 Hour Eye Liner Review! ♥

Normally when it comes to eye make-up, I have to admit I am very unadventurous. I tend to stick to what I know with a bit of mascara and eyeliner and very occasionally (if I want to "push the boat out") I will apply a little bit of eyeshadow. Needless to say I really enjoy the simplicity of it as I hardly take anytime in a morning to get ready for work so I can spend an extra 10 minutes in bed instead!

Recently though, instead of just applying a simple line of liquid eyeliner on my lash line, I've finished off with a little flick at the end creating the "Cat Eye" look and as I'm sure most girls will agree it can be very frustrating when one eye looks great and the other looks like a toddler drew it on. After many failed attempts, I started researching and came across a few brands who sold felt tip eyeliners who claimed to be so much better than liquid eyeliners, I thought why not give it a try!

Now admittedly, this isn't the first felt tip eyeliner I've tried on the market but since it promised me 24 hour of perfect eyeliner, I still thought it was worth a blog.

The eyeliner obviously lasted A LOT longer than my foundation :(

On my day of first applying the eyeliner, I applied my makeup about 7:15am and went out to work a little later. I stayed there until late afternoon then came home and cooked dinner so all in all I'd say there was about 10 hours between when I took the first photo above and the last one.

As you can see it has lasted mostly along my lash line but my flick has faded and smudged a little. Throughout the day though, there was no panda eyes and only after a slight touch-up, I found that it was mostly still intact by the time I came to go to bed. I did also try using this eyeliner a few days after and I found it lasted the same amount of time.

Although I did enjoy this product and thought it lasted a lot longer than many other brands I'd tried in the past, I think it's selling point to me was because it was a felt tip nib and it made applying the look so much easier. I honestly don't think it would have lasted the whole 24 hours though I would have felt uncomfortable leaving it on while I was asleep!

I would definitely recommend trying it for yourselves though as it's only £2.99 and hardly going to break the bank. It's available to buy from Boots, Superdrug and many other supermarkets.
