Big Mac In A Bowl Recipe! ♥

All of us can agree that there's nothing better than treating ourselves with our favourite fatty foods but I know that as soon as I'm finished, I feel really guilty and wish I'd have stuck with a salad in the first place! Luckily for me though, I recently came across a recipe from the lovely Jade over on her Real Slim Jadey Blog of a "Big Mac In A Bowl".

Now nearly every time I go to McDonald's, I always order myself a Big Mac meal as it's my favourite but like I said above, I always feel mega guilty after so now I know there's now a recipe where I can enjoy a big mac without all the calories, I knew I had to try it out for myself!

- Less than 5% fat mince or Quorn Mince
- Iceberg lettuce (I used baby gem lettuce but it's your choice)
- 1 level tablespoon of Thousand Island Dressing
- 1 x Cheese Slices
- Gherkin (If you like them, I don't so I didn't include them)

- Cook your mince
- In the meantime, line your bowl with the chopped  lettuce and gherkin slices
- Once the mince is cooked pour it on top of the lettuce and gherkins
- Then tear the cheese into strips and lay it on top of the mince
- Drizzle your tablespoon of thousand island dressing over the top and there you go... a Big Mac in a bowl!
I've never signed up to Slimming World so I have no idea what Syns are or what they mean but a normal big mac meal from Mcdonald's would cost you around 25 Syns while this recipe is less than 1! That's a massive difference so I can only guess it would have less calories as well!
This was such an easy and tasty recipe and I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Why don't you give it a try yourselves?
