Hello!
A few months ago I mentioned that I had a mini shopping spree in Boots and treated myself to the highly talked about Seventeen Phwoarr Paint concealer. I'd heard a lot of other beauty bloggers rave about this so of course I knew it had to be good. I'd been into Boots a few times since reading the reviews and it was always out of stock of my shade but finally one day it was there!
When it came to concealers I have to admit that I always felt that because I used a lot of it everyday just to cover bad spot days and bags under my eyes that the cheaper they were the better, because although I needed it, I didn't want to waste my "good stuff" on just going work. I would normally buy MUA's £1 concealer lipstick stick and think it was actually doing a good job when really it wasn't. Since starting this blog though it's made me become a little more adventurous when it comes to my make-up and I'll now be using my "night out" make-up just for doing the weekly shop!
Ignore the bad lighting
When it comes to picking a shade, I never know which to get. Some times I'm a lighter than what I think in one brand and then in others I'm darker than what I think and obviously because this is a "never brought before in my life" product I was once again unsure. I ended up going with the Medium shade and I have to say it matches my skin completely. It covers up any annoying spot or bags under my eyes like they were never there to start with and isn't that just what a good concealer does?
The only bad thing I could say about this concealer is that sometimes the formula itself can feel a little heavy when you layer it up a bit but personally it's something I can allow because of how good the product works.
For me the £5.49 price tag was a little too much a few weeks ago but after seeing how much better using a more expensive concealer can be, I definitely wouldn't mind cashing out that much every couple of weeks.
This looks like a good concealer and the colour is perfect for hiding undereye bags! Most important thing is that it doesnt crease!
ReplyDeleteFollowed your blog, love it! I would love if you checked mine out!

DeleteThe result with/without a very clear. Looks and sounds like a good concealer and I wish we have this brand here in Canada but don't think I've seen it before. Great review!
