Essence Lash Princess Mascara Review!

The reason I signed up to Glossybox was because I loved the idea of being sent beauty goodies through my post every month. Whether it's a product you've heard of and just never got around to buying or something you would never have brought for yourself but surprised yourself with how much you love it, it's great to open the boxes up and see just what's inside. Plus who doesn't love coming back home and seeing parcels and packages waiting for you by your front door? It's like Christmas every week!

I love receiving make-up products - especially ones I'll actually try/use. Not like bright red lipstick (definitely not my shade) or glitter nail dust (who has time to apply that?!). This month's Glossybox I was really pleased with and one of my favourite products inside was the Essence Lash Princess mascara. Of course just by looking at the packaging, it's a bit of a winner but by the sounds of the little product bio inside the box, it's amazing so needless to say, as soon as the next morning came, of applying my usual mascara I decided to whip out the Lash Princess and see just how good it was.

mascara wand

Other than the gorgeously designed bottle, the thing I loved the most about this mascara was the "new" cobra style wand. I've never heard of this before and to be honest I'm really loving how it makes my lashes look. It covers all my lashes, even the small, hard to get to ones in the corner without leaving clumps and the dreaded "spider legs" look. To say that this mascara is less than £4 and it made my lashes look better than when I wore the Benefit They're Real mascara, it's definitely a bargain must-have.

The only bad thing I would have to say about this mascara is that it made me eyelashes so long, I couldn't wear my glasses without the feeling of them touching the glass every time I blinked. First world problems eh?

I definitely loved this mascara and I could happily see myself buying this again when it ran out. For all you lot out there who aren't signed up to Glossybox, please check out this mascara on the Wilko website for only £3.30!

  1. This is such a great review! I've been on the hunt for a new mascara for a while now and I think I'm going to try and get my hands on this one soon :)
