Tag Tuesday: The Reader Problems Tag!

Hello!

Finding tags has moved to back seat more recently (probably because there's none left that I haven't done!) but a few weeks ago I found The Book Tag and since I love reading, I thought I would give it ago. Once again if you fancy taking this for yourself, please feel free to copy over onto your blog!

1. You have 20,000 books on your TBR, how do you decide what to read next?
I have no idea when I would have 20,000 books in my house! Where would I put them all?!I honestly don't think this would ever happen as I hate seeing unread books on my bookshelf, it's like they know they're unloved and make me feel bad!

2. You’re half way through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
If I just cannot get into a book, I will just quit. I know I should give them a chance but if I'm really not loving it or I just can't get my head in with the story, I'd rather not waste my time!

3. The end of the year is coming and you are so close but so far away from finishing your Goodreads challenge. Do you try and catch up but hope to finish or do you just let it go?
I don't know what the Goodreads challenge is and I honestly don't think I would challenge myself. I know I can read quite quickly but I wouldn't want to put that pressure on myself!

4. Everyone and their mother loves this book that you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
I normally bond over books with my mom. She reads the same books as me and I love being able to share feelings and thoughts with her. I also like to read the books first so I can tease her with spoilers!

5. The covers of a series you love do not match. How do you cope?
Avoid them. I have a few books by Nicholas Sparks and The Lucky One is the movie cover and not the original. That bothers me SO much!

6. You’re reading a book and you’re about to start crying in public. What do you do?
I don't read outside of my house - I like the peace and quiet in my bedroom/bath so I can concentrate more. I've cried hundreds of times from books so I would definitely not do this out in public!

7. A sequel to a book you love just came out but you don’t remember anything from the first book. Will you reread the book, skip the sequel, read the synopsis on Goodreads or cry in frustration?
I HAVE to read the first book and this applies to books, films and even games. If any sequel has come out I have to the read whatever has come first. It just builds up the excitement for the second!

8. You don’t want anyone borrowing your books. How do you politely tell them no when people ask?
I don't necessary have a problem with lending my books out, it's just that I read quite quickly so I will normally finish the book I'm on and then want to read the one that I've lent out. And then I normally start badgering the other people to hurry up!

9. You’ve picked up and put down five books in the last month. How do you get over a reading slump?
To be honest I don't think this has ever happened to me. If I can't get into a new book and there's nothing else to read, I will normally just start a book I've already read and loved. You can't beat reading a classic!

10. There are so many books coming out that you are just dying to read. How many of them will you actually buy?
Probably all of them. If it's a series or from an author that I know I love, I will take the plunge and buy all of them. Even if I don't read them all at once, I know there will come a time when I have a spare hour or so to sit down with one.

11. After you have bought all the books you wanted to buy. How long will they sit on your shelf until you read them?
Ha! As I said above I don't always read books as soon as I buy them so it could be up to a few months. I am currently half way through a book and I started it back in February. Is that good or bad?!
