Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush in Make Me Blush Review!

03 June 2015

Hello!

Last week I reviewed the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer in the shade Aurora after finding it while rummaging in my local Poundland. As well as the lip lacquer I also managed to get my hands on the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush in a gorgeously girly pink shade named Make Me Blush. oooh!

I have to admit that it's not my usual shade as I do tend to stick to my boring nude and neutral colours but since it was only £1, I couldn't help but add it to my basket!

When I applied I felt like it was too pink and slightly "Barbie" for me but in this picture it doesn't look too bad and I actually really like it. Although it probably won't be a daily lipstick for me, I could definitely see myself wearing this for special occasions or on holiday plus it's also good to add to my lipstick collection!

The formula itself is perfect! It's super moisturising and because of the crayon style nip, the lipstick glides on easily onto my lips. I applied this around 1pm and by the end of the afternoon the colour was still there on my lips and I didn't feel the need to reapply!

Like I said above I personally wouldn't buy this colour again as I do prefer more neutral shades but I'd still definitely recommend the lip crayon itself!

Obviously I brought this for £1 at Poundland but you can check it out on the Boot's website for £5.99!

  1. I am so jealous. My local poundland sucks :( But this is super nice and it's not Barbie at all. It suits you really well :)

  2. So good that you got it for just £1! Despite it not being your chosen every day shade, it's a great one to have in the stash like you say :)

  6. I think this colour actually looks really lovely on you, it's not too over the top and looks very summery.
