Although I've had a lot of things going on recently to help me take my mind off things, the past couple of weeks have been really tough on me. As much as I would love to say that I'm fine and it doesn't bother me, it would be a lie.
In an attempt to make myself happy I've been trying to do a lot of things that I would never do before or go places I've never been and so far I've been really enjoying it. I always felt slightly uncomfortable going anywhere on my own but I've found that I actually enjoy it.
Today was one of those days and since it was a lovely day out and I'm trying to save my money, I thought I would take a walk through one of my local parks. I remember going there a few times when I was younger and they do have a beautiful pond and rose garden so it would be stupid not to take a few pictures!
Inside the park as well there is an old Victorian house museum which is still decorated in the period style and normally it's open to the public to tour around. They do also open around the Halloween time as parts of the house are said to be haunted by the former owners. I've never seen anything but my little cousin did say that he saw a man looking out one of the higher windows when he was younger. Creepy!
Superstitious or not, Haden Hill park is a lovely place to walk around and it was perfect for giving me time to think. Sorry in advance as this post is quite picture heavy!
