Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser Review!

Hello!

Despite trying really hard to not be, I am normally one of the last people to catch onto trends or to buy the latest make-up/fashion products. I just can't help it! Even when I was a kid, I always remember being the one who seemed to follow my friends with what was cool and not be the "trend setter" myself.

Another trend product that I'm a little late to the party for is the Vaseline spray-on moisturiser! I'm sure most of you are already aware of this product and probably already tried it but since I had a little mad shopping spree, I finally decided to pick me up a can. Plus it was better than half price so I really couldn't say no!

I did originally want to the cocoa butter version as I much prefer that smell but that was out of stock so I instead went with the original. Oh well!

I remember the advertisement for this spray and I have to admit, it did look amazing with how quick and easy it was so when I finally got around to testing it myself, I was expecting the same results.

Although the spray went on smoothly and it didn't feel too greasy or sticky like advertised, I didn't think it instantly absorbed the spray and I did find that I was waiting around a little for it all to dry.

The most important aspect of moisturiser if it's actually helps your skin and moisturises it, duh. I've been using this for a few days now and although I can feel that my skin is slightly softer, I haven't noticed that much of a difference.

Overall I was slightly disappointed in this spray and if I was ever in too much of a rush to moisturise, I would much prefer to use the in-shower moisturiser instead. You can check it out here on the Superdrug website for yourself where it's currently still on offer for  £2.45! Bargain!

  1. I didn't find it all too moisturising either. It's fine when you're in a rush in the summer or want a little top-up, but I found there was hardly any point using it in the colder months. x

    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I think I'll use it like you said when I'm in a rush but I don't think it's good for anything else! xo

  5. Ahh I wasn't sure how I felt about this. I saw the ad and couldn't quite imagine how it would work. Glad I didn't go for it now! I've been using the in-shower moisturiser by Nivea recently and that's actually great :) definitely no drying time, cos you wash it off before you get out! xx

  8. I have the Cocoa version that's in a squirt bottle and I actually don't find it too bad it some to do the job anyway! Pity about this one! X

  10. I'm using this at the moment and though I love the convenience the formula is just too thin to be any use to my dodgy skin! Ah well, it's a great idea :)
