Tag Tuesday | The Christmas Tag!

I love a good tag post and they're even better when they're seasonal! For some reason I've very excited for Christmas this year and the perfect way to show this was to do The Christmas Tag. There's a few of these tags going around with all different questions but since this one was different from last years, I thought I'd complete it.

Of course if you want to take the tag for yourself, please feel free!

Favourite Christmas movie?
It has to be Miracle on 34th Street. It's actually my moms but since she always likes to watch it around the Christmas period, it's slowly become mine as well. Oh, and Home Alone. Is that even a proper Christmas film!?

Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?
Definitely Naughty ;)

Show us an embarrassing Christmas Card photo!
I don't have Christmas Card photo but I do have a photo of me clearly ecstatic with my new doll house on a Christmas morning.

Have you ever had a White Christmas?
We might have done when I was a little girl but I honestly can't ever remember having one. Blame the English weather!
Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Surrounded with all of my family :)

Play or sing your favourite Christmas song!
I'm not singing anything (imagine glasses smashing) but my favourite

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
I used to open the one from my parents but since becoming an "adult", I have to wait til the actual day! Boring!

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
I have to admit that I don't. Prancher and Dancer and of course Ruldolph? But that's all I remember ha

What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?
Probably just seeing a lot of my family!

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake definitely! Not as traditional but it's cheaper and to be honest I wouldn't have the first clue on where to buy one from!
Hands down, what's your all-time favourite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?
Obviously has to be the tradition turkey dinner for Christmas day. Sweet treat is raiding the tin of Roses after!
Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Obviously I do love opening my presents but I love to see the look on someones face when I've brought a really good present that they haven't been expecting. It makes all the stress worth while!

Show us your tackiest Christmas attire!
I'm not one for buying Christmas themed clothing so unfortunately I don't have one of these!
What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Lapland! To see Santa :)
Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?
No not really :( That sucks!
Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I'd like to say that I'm somewhere in between. If it's a square present, I'm brilliant but if it's a weird and complicated shape, I'll normally just shove in a gift back with a lot of tissue paper. Simple!

Most memorable Holiday moment?
The first thing that comes to mind is waking up extremely early to wake my parents up so we can go downstairs. It's funny that as I've got older, it's my mom that wakes me up now!
What made you realize the truth about Santa?
When I heard my parents dragging my gift bags downstairs to set the scene that Santa had been.
Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I do yes! I always make a blog post about these so keep your eye out for it!
What makes the Holidays special for you?
Because I normally spend quality time with people in my family that I wouldn't normally see otherwise. Plus it's socially acceptable to be drinking wine before the afternoon! Woo!

  1. real trees are so messy, so fake is always the best option :) I wish we had a white xmas this year, but doesnt look like it.
