Highlight of my Life: So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon

Hello!

Probably this time last year I would have laughed at the thought of wearing a highlighter on a daily basis and thought it was just a complete waste of time. Obviously I have learned my mistake and realised just how different and let's be honest, better my face looked with a little highlight and contour.

In the December Glossybox, they treated us all to the So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon and of course I was mega excited to go and try it out!

I know it's a bad photo but as you can try and see from the picture above, the highlighter is subtle but leaves a noticeably glow to your face without looking like you've smothered yourself in glitter.

The only thing I would say is that would is a little wrong is they say that the new chiseled head allows you to just glide over your skin to illuminate with the use of a brush. I disagree with this. Although yes the applicator allows precision but I still think you need a little help from a brush to blend it in slightly.

Other than that I'm very pleased with this highlighter and I love the subtle glow it leaves on my skin. Like I said above, it's not over the top and it's easy to wear for both day and night. Not sure if I would re-buy purely because I think the price is a little steep BUT it was a good product!

If you missed out on the December Glossybox, you can check the highlighter out here on the So Susan website where it's selling for £15!
