BioAqua 3 Step Blackhead Remover Kit Review ♥

30 March 2016

Hello!

I have to admit but recently I've got reallly paranoid about my skin. It's not a secret that I suffer with oily skin but recently I've been noticing that I've been getting more spots and blackheads than usual and I became a little desperate to find a cure.

Well one of my very frequent visits through AliExpress.com, I saw a 3 step kit to help remove and shrink pores and of course I couldn't resist making that purchase.

Now when I received this, there was no English translation or even instructions so I did have to go on the search through the website for them.

Step 1: Apply the formula from bottle one and leave on for around 2 minutes. This will help open up your pores ready for the mask. You can also use a steamer on your face beforehand if you have one, if not you can apply a hot towel to your face. After the two minutes, wash the formula off.

Step 2: While your face is still wet, apply a thick layer of the mask over your problem areas and wait for about 10-15 minutes or until its completely dry.

Step 3: When dry, peel off the mask and then apply the mixture from the third bottle. This will apparently help close your pores back up!

Step 4 (Optional): Moisturise as normal.

Unfortunately I didn't include any gross before and after pictures because lets be honest - who wants to see that? BUT I've used these products a few times now and I can really see a difference in my skin. Instead of noticeable pores around my nose, forehead and chin (my problem areas) they now seem a lot smoother and more hidden.

I've also noticed that my face is a lot more shinier since using and although I initially thought this was a bad thing, I did a bit of thinking and thought that maybe since my pores are getting smaller or are closing completely, does that mean that the oil won't find it's way into my skin as easy? Just me?

Either way I'm really impressed with this kit and I can't believe how much of a difference it's made. If you suffer with oily skin or just bad blackheads, I would definitely recommend giving it a go. And for under £15, who can say no?

L'Oreal Volume Lashes Excess Mascara Review!

28 March 2016

Hello!

It's not been that long ago that I was reviewing the new Maybelline Falsies Push Up Mascara but I found myself out shopping again at the Freeport Talke Shopping Outlet and I couldn't help but pick up another mascara! You can see why I've never got any money!

I'm a big fan of the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara range though and as soon as I saw their fairly new Excess mascara, I knew I had to try it. Especially since it was slightly cheaper as being from an outlet store. It was just a no-brainer!

The one thing I really loved about this mascara was the size and shape of the brush. I don’t think I've seen anything similar and it’s perfect for catching all your lashes, even the smaller ones on the inner eye. It didn't clump my lashes together like most comb brushes and I found that it really lengthened and volumised them with just the one coat.

I’d also like to mention the formula and just how well it KEPT my lashes looking lengthened and volumised. Most mascara’s seem amazing when you've just applied but after a few hours they soon droop and look pretty lifeless. This didn't happen with Excess and it just reconfirms that the L’Oreal Volume Lashes collection is probably THE best out on the market right now.

You can pick yours up from Boots for £9.99 but I managed to get it for £6.99 at the outlet. Hehe!

Humpty Dumpty Sat On A Wall, And Then Fell In My Bath | Lush Easter Collection 2016

27 March 2016

Hello!

I think it's funny to look back about a year and think that I used to hate Lush. I thought it smelt gross and every product I'd tried in the past was rubbish, for example a shampoo bar. It didn't lather at all!

But I am happy to say that I have seen the light and am now a complete Lush convert and probably a bit of an addict. I've even had to buy a box to keep them all in because I had no where to put them! That's how bad it got.

Well the last time I popped in they had all the cute Easter products out and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try them out. My favourite out of them all was definitely the Humpty Dumpty bath bomb.

Now it's a little more expensive than the bombs I normally go for but at just under £7 it's definitely worth it. As you can see from the pictures above it does turn a very gorgeous deep blue colour and the smell is just amazing! I wouldn't even know where to begin to describe it but let's just say I didn't want to get out of the bath.

Overall it's a gorgeous bomb and you should all go and check it out while it's still in stock!

Schwarzkopf got2b 2 Sexy Volumizing Spray Mousse

25 March 2016

Hello!

I don't tend to use many styling products for my hair in the week for work. I tend to leave it to air dry and do it's own thing with maybe the occasional use of serum just to liven up my dull ends.

A couple of weeks ago though when I visited the Freeport Talke Shopping Outlet, I picked up the Schwarzkopf got2b 2 Sex Volumizing spray mousse. I've actually seen this about before but never thought to pick it up but since I was in the Beauty Outlet store, it felt stupid not to take advantage of the discount!

This product actually amazes me. Like it's mousse. But it sprays. It doesn't just foam up in your hair, you can now actually aim it where you want it to go. WOW!

As you can see I'm like a kid with a new toy with this mousse and the novelty of it does sound amazing. Instead of spraying it in your hand and combing it through your hair, you can now just easily lift up sections and spray again. No need to get your hands all messy and sticky ever again!

For the first time I used this mousse I thought I would really push the boat out and blow dry my hair, with my head upside down and the results were amazing! It was honestly like I had back combed all my hair but without all the hassle and knotty roots.

If you're interested in being as amazed as I am, you can get it here for £3 on the Boots website where all Schwarzkopf products are 2 for £5.50!

Health | Nutribuddy's Weight Loss Starter Kit First Impressions!*

21 March 2016

Hello!

Over the years I've had many failed attempts of trying to lose weight and get fit. It's actually embarrassing if I'm honest. But a few weeks ago, me and my friend joined up to Slimming World and since starting I feel a lot more motivated to get up and make healthy meals instead of being lazy and nipping to McDonalds. Guilty!

To help give myself a little boost, I signed up for the Nutribuddy Milkshake Weight Loss Starter Kit! I know a lot of people don't like diet shakes and say they're all a waste of time and money but I've tried them in the past and I have actually lost weight on them. So I guess it's just down to the person!

But anyway - back to the kit! The starter kit includes the Nutribuddy Sculpting Whey - a whey protein-based shake, made from the milk of free-range, grass fed GM-free cows. It also includes some natural ingredients such as green tea and guarana to boost metabolism. You take this instead of un-healthy snacks (or even meals if you want) to keep you feeling full. It also comes with the Nutribuddy Hunger Fix tablets - These contain glucomannan which is a natural ingredient from the root of a plant. The tablets takes up space in your stomach to help naturally suppress appetite. It's one of the most powerful, natural and side-effect-free weight loss ingredient. And lastly the Nutribuddy Multivitamins - these are a mixture of vitamins for general health.

As well as the milkshake and capsules, you also get a handy bottle and weight loss book with your starter kit which I thought was really helpful! The book has lots of different recipes and ideas for meal plans so you'll never be stuck for ideas!

My progress?

I didn't really get on well with the milkshakes too much. I usually only managed half of it before I felt very well and slightly sick so there would be some days that I would skip and just opt for something healthy like fruit.

Again the Hunger Fix capsules didn't help me much and often made me feel really sick so after a few days I gave them up as well!

I did however enjoy taking the multivitamins and I really did notice the main difference from them. I felt energised and ready to go in the mornings!

Overall I personally didn't get on very well with the starter kit but I still won't sit here and say don't try it. Diets and weight loss is different for everyone and you never know but this might be your perfect way to drop those extra pounds! Check out their website now in time for Summer!

One By One Jewellery | Rose Gold Allobar Horseshoe Necklace ♥*

19 March 2016

Hello!

Although the majority of my blog is about make-up, one of my favourite things to buy for myself is jewellery. Whether it's a new statement necklace or a even a new head for my Dermal Anchor, I love looking through all the new jewellery when I'm out shopping. I'm like a magpie looking at all the lovely shinys!

Well a couple of weeks ago I came across a cute little up and coming jewellery store and just completely fell in love with everything on their site. I was kindly offered the opportunity to trial one of their items so after much deliberation, I decided on the gorgeous Rose Gold Horseshoe necklace.

As you can see the necklace is packaged gorgeously and it felt like I was playing a game of pass the parcel but with myself as it was just wrapping after wrapping. Not like I'm complaining because it really added to who suspense of opening it up!

Rose gold jewellery is really popular right and this dainty little horseshoe necklace does not disappoint.

The only thing I would suggest to One By One is make the length slightly longer OR give the customer an option of picking a length. I found that the necklace was a little too tight and constricting so I would have preferred the option to have it slightly longer.

Overall it's a gorgeous design and I can easily see myself ordering more in the future! The packaging is adorable and it's perfect if you're ordering for a gift for someone. The pieces all seem to be good quality and I've been wearing mine for a couple of weeks now with no sign of wear!

If you're interested in the horseshoe necklace for yourself or anything else from their, please check One By One out here

Maybelline New York Lip Polish by Colorsensational in Glam 16 Review!

18 March 2016

Hello!

Over the past couple of months I have spent so much money on make-up it's actually ridiculous. I might even need to buy more storage to fit them all in! My main reason for this when I have days off from work,  I hate wasting them so I always seem to find myself in some Outlet centre or another. And all of them seem to have Beauty Outlet shops. Who can resist?

Well one of the lipsticks that I recently picked up was the Maybelline New York Lip Polish by Colorsensational. I've not seen these lipsticks before in stores so I was intrigued to find out if they were any good or not. I decided to go with a dark mauve colour since it's still quite cold out and I can get away wearing Winter colours for a bit longer!

Although I did kind of guess it was a lip gloss, I was still a little surprised when I opened it up. I'm not lip glosses biggest fan which I've always made pretty clear on my blog but there's just something about the formula and the colour that makes me forget about all that.

The gloss part of the polish doesn't really last more than an hour or so but the colour does still remain visible on the lips so maybe I can evil with it!

Other than the obviously hate for lip gloss, I did enjoy wearing this lip polish. Even so much that I actually wore it out the next day and got plenty of complements about the colour. I still haven't found a store selling this range but I did manage to find it on Amazon for under £3!

Lush's Sex Bomb Review!

16 March 2016

Hello!

The first thing that I want to do when I get paid is go and spend it. Whether it's a new pair of shoes, a new foundation or even a bottle of wine. I need to spend!

On this month's pay day spree I visited Lush and actually spent quite a bit of money on bath bombs! Whoops!

Since I brought a few, I thought it would be best to separate them all as not to confuse them. This week's post will be about the gorgeous smelling "Sex Bomb!". Since it's recently been Mother's Day and with Easter being around the corner, Lush had a few themed bomb but the name for this bomb completely sold it for me.

It's not my favourite out of all the ones I've tired in the past, BUT I still can't deny how gorgeous it is. You can check it out here for yourself.
