Beauty & Fashion Trends | Nude Simplicity

11 April 2016

Hello!

Nude simplicity

From entire outfits to make-up, nude simplicity is the latest fashion and beauty trend. It is the definition of elegance and classy minimalism if you consider it for the evening and office hours. On the other hand, beige, nude and white are screaming bohemian chic. All those loving sporty looks can rip the benefits of this colour, as well. Think an oversized jumper, skinny ankle pants and sneakers. Nude make-up has been associated with the day, now night outfits are balanced out with a few swipes of mascara.

Nude on runways

Nude simplicity

The Emilia Wickstead’s 2016 spring-summer collection featured the combination of white, beige and khaki sandals and a beige elegant dresses. Nude from-head-to-toe could be seen in Alberta Ferretti’s ephemeral gowns, Stella McCartney’s silken layers and Alber Elbaz’s draped dresses. Stella McCartney also blended pops of colour: a Tango pink lace top, a white oversized open-front blazer and nude classic high-waist pants. No.21 showed us how to mix an all nude outfit with a black leather belt and gold shoes. Isabel Marant paired an elegant nude draped dress with khaki slouchy boots and feather earrings. Viktor & Rolf achieved a perfect balanced with a nude dress, a nude cape, a black belt and pale pink-blue strap high-heels.

How to wear nude?

Nude bathing suits are another trend this season. As summer is slowly approaching, check out the latest swimwear sale for this total on-trend look. Nude from-head-to-toe requires subtle pops of colours, whether it is a bold nail polish, dark lips, black sunglasses, or chunky accessories so that you do not look washed-out. Break the monotony of a beige jumpsuit and sexy strappy shoes. Or, add a flash of colour to a nude pantsuit with royal blue bag and royal blue pumps. Pair a mint green skirt with a beige oversized jumper and matching ankle boots. Only thing we can add is that we will totally adore nude fashion trends this season!

Make-up

Nude simplicity

Dark, or fair complexions, natural understated make-up is how Grammy Awards 2016 can be described. Selena Gomez complemented her royal blue sequin dress with brown smokey eyes, nude lips and '70s-inspired waves. Ellie Goulding also loves this trend, rocking it with pink lips, dewy skin and major lashes. The make-up look of Bella Hadid consists of soft brown smokey eyes and nude lips in contrast to her black dress. Apart from David Bowie tribute hairstyle, Zendaya wowed everyone with her understated make-up she did herself, believe it, or not. Janelle Monae is another Grammy star who loves enhancing her natural beauty with soft pink lips and thick eyelashes. Chrissy Teigen also showed off her monochromatic look paired with a white dress.

Celebrities wearing nude

Nude simplicity

When we are talking of celebrities wearing nude, we cannot but mention so-called naked dresses. Whether it is Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, or Kim Kardashian, all three of them at the 2015 Met Gala, or Paris Hilton at Charbel Zoe Haute Couture Store Launch in L.A., one thing is sure: they know how to wear them. When it comes to more casual outfits, Kim Kardashian was spotted looking flawless wearing a nude high-waist skirt and a pale pink turtle-neck crop top on one occasion and on the other, she opted for the all-over-nude outfit consisting of a nude top, skin tight nude body stockings, a nude cape and nude high-heels.
These pale tones are sophisticated and chic, but not all nude tones will flatter your skin complexion, hair and eyes colour. Try out different shades and if you think you look too monochromatic, do not afraid to add different colours. You can never go wrong with pairing nude with green mint, white, pink pale and brown shades.
