Hello!

If you're a regular reader then you'll know that it's not a secret that I suffer with oily skin and that I always seem to be on the lookout for my perfect skincare products that will help me battle my shiny face. I have found a handful of products that have actually worked but on the whole, there's still room for improvement.
On one of my latest shopping trips to Tesco, I noticed they had an offer on selected skincare products so of course it would be rude not to have a look. The one product that caught my eye was the Garnier Moisture Match 24 Hour Mattifying Face Cream. 24 Hour Mattifying power is a long time and I couldn't believe it would actually work. Since it was only £2, I thought I would put it to the test!

I've been using this cream for a few weeks now, normally applying in the morning before I apply my make-up and then again on a night when I've finished taking it off and did I notice 24 hours worth of matte-face-ness? No, not really. Even after a morning of running around at work I noticed I was still getting my usual shiny areas and I still had to reapply my powder several times throughout the day.
The one thing I will say that I enjoyed about this cream was the smell. It was really fresh and light and the formula was easily absorbed without much rubbing in. Unfortunately that's all I can rave about.
The best thing about this cream though is that it's not ridiculous expensive and it's actually a bit of a bargain if you don't suffer with extremely oily skin. It's actually on a half price offer in Superdrug at £1.95 right now if you're quick!

I love Garnier products - but haven't seen these at our stores yet
