It feels like it's been a while since I had a good beauty / make-up shopping haul so at the beginning of May I finally decided I would treat myself. Among all the goodies that I brought, I did manage to pick up the new L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Base.
When I first saw that this range had been released I thought it was great because I love a good contour and if this collection can make that whole process easier then I'm all for it! Unfortunately though I'd only recently brought new make-up so I couldn't justify spending another £20-£30 on MORE make-up. Luckily for me though I'm starting to run low so I thought I would treat myself to their Contouring Base.
Now when this finally arrived I have to admit I had no idea how to use this. Was it a primer that I applied under my foundation or did I just use it on it's own? No idea! After a bit of research on the L'Oreal website though, I found that you do use it in place of a foundation. It's said to be half as thin as normal foundation and it helps build "a perfect level of blendable coverage to prepare for the perfect contour."
Funnily enough on the day that I took these pictures, I only did a very slight and not that noticeable contour. BLOGGER FAIL! I have however noticed that when I have properly contoured, not only has it looked uhh-mazing but it actually lasted the entire day without fading. I've even started wearing this base as a normal foundation even when I'm not contouring because I love the pigmented glow it gives my skin!
If you fancy checking out this base for yourselves, you can buy it here from Superdrug where it's also on offer!
